Production of Metal Hangars
Metal hangars are a metal structure primarily used to construct industrial and storage facilities, bases, shopping centers, and entertainment venues.
Advantages of hangars:
- More stable in seismically active zones,
- Relatively short installation time,
- Providing large spans
- Lightness and ease of transportation of metal hangars allow to manufacture hangars at low prices,
- Longevity. The service life of metal hangars is relatively longer than that of other buildings.
- Efficient use of space. Metal hangars can be single-span, multi-span, single-pitched, and multi-pitched, which allows the customer to build a metal hangar that meets their capabilities and requirements.
Metal Design uses European SIN technology to produce its metal hangars. This technology allows saving up to 10% of raw materials for columns and supports and up to 35% of beams, which allows making a metal hangar lighter. It also allows building a hangar at more affordable prices.
SIN beam is an improved version of conventional H-beams, allowing to cover large spans.
Thanks to the use of SIN beams, it is possible to construct multi-story metal buildings even in seismically active areas.
For hangars, Metal Design uses Z-shaped profiles, which the company itself manufactures on its own production lines, 150-300 mm wide and unlimited length. Z-shaped profiles are also designed to reduce raw material costs, which in turn makes the production of hangar roofs affordable.
